Deposit

A non-refundable deposit must be made to confirm your booking. A booking confirmation will be sent to you via instagram or email. Your booking is only confirmed once we have received your deposit and you have received a booking confirmation from us. If you have not received a confirmation please contact us to confirm as we do not want to disappoint prospective clients. Please note this is a NON- REFUNDABLE payment. We often turn down other business and make arrangements for bookings so therefore cannot return any deposits paid.

Payment

Full payment for your booking must be made on the booking date. The final balance due is any other expenses occurred for the event as one payment - no exceptions - unless at the discretion of the makeup artist. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has made the booking.

Refunds/Cancellations

Your deposit is non-refundable and/or non-transferable under any circumstances. Your deposit covers us for loss of business. If you need to re-schedule or postpone your booking, please contact us immediately. If you cancel a booking after you have made a deposit payment you will lose all payments made. This is because we work on a tight schedule and will have already made arrangements for travel and materials. If makeup artist cancels at any time or becomes unable to perform artist’s duties for any reason, the deposit paid will be fully refunded within two (2) weeks. Client agrees that the refund of 100% of the deposit is the only liability to GlamwithMaryam and any and all of it’s owners, employees and agents.

 

Travel, Parking & Other Charges

All travel costs (including Fuel, London’s Congestion Charge/ULEZ and Car Parking) are required to be paid by the Client. Costs will be discussed in advance. However, in circumstances where these costs cannot be estimated, they are required to be paid on the day, by the Client.

Location and Booking Times

We are unable to change the location or booking times once a booking has been confirmed. If a location is changed, your booking will be automatically void and you will lose your deposit. Any exceptions to this will have to be agreed via direct messaging on instagram/ email and will be subject to discretion. If you are late for your booking (longer than 20 minutes from booking time) there will be additional charge of £20.00. Any further delays caused by the client, over the allocated time, you may be subject to losing your booking slot altogether. Please ensure that the location and booking time is correct before proceeding to pay any deposit.

Liability

All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are skin care based and/or hypoallergenic. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, it’s owners, and all employees and agents from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

We are extremely excited to be selected as your make up artists, however we cannot be liable for dissatisfaction as a condition for refund. We will always endeavour to perform our best and will produce what we believe is a fabulous result.

Use of Image

Unless prior discussed and approved, GlamwithMaryam may use on it’s social media pages as it deems necessary - any and all photographs, video, audio and any other digitally or chemically stored media that is captured or recorded by GlamwithMaryam and any and all of its representatives or agents. Client(s) agree to release any and all claims regarding use of his / her image for such purposes.

Severability and Jurisdiction 

If any provisions of this agreement shall be held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable or in conflict with any of the law(s) of any jurisdiction, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
